Note from the artist
Silvereyes are a small migratory bird with distinctive white rings around their eyes. They are often found in forests and gardens. I used my favourite Teiou Shiboku ink with Saibiboku colours with the addition of yellow.
This website introduces the art works created using materials handmade by traditional Japanese artisans, such as Kobaien, Chiyomi Tanaka, Uda Washi Paper, etc.
